Application

Common uses: industrial vacuum lines, pump suction hoses, agricultural sprayers, construction site dewatering, pond cleaning, swimming pool circulation, and food processing (FDA-grade options available).
Construction
- Tube/Cover (integral): High-quality, flexible PVC (polyvinyl chloride) – smooth bore for excellent flow, clear or translucent for visual inspection of media. UV-stabilized, oil- and abrasion-resistant. FDA-compliant grades available for food contact.
- Reinforcement: Heavy-duty galvanized steel wire helix embedded in the hose wall – provides spring-like rigidity, full vacuum resistance, and prevents kinking or crushing.
- Cover characteristics: Smooth or slightly corrugated outer surface depending on design; flexible yet tough.
Performance
- Working Pressure: Up to 150 PSI (10 bar) for smaller diameters (e.g., ¾”–2”); larger sizes typically rated 40–100 PSI depending on construction
- Burst Pressure: 2–3 x working pressure
- Vacuum Rating: Full vacuum (29 in Hg) – steel wire spring prevents collapse even under strong suction
- Temperature Range: 0°C to +65°C (32°F to +150°F); special grades available for higher or lower temperatures
