Application
Designed for low-pressure suction and gravity flow of water, air, and light slurries. Typical uses: sump pump connections, garden pond circulation, swimming pool pump lines, basement drainage, industrial dust extraction, and general workshop water transfer.
Construction
- Tube (inner liner): Smooth, flexible PVC – provides low friction flow and resists scale buildup.
- Cover (outer corrugation): Rigid PVC corrugated profile – adds structural strength, crush resistance, and flexibility. The corrugated design allows tight bending without kinking.
- Reinforcement: The corrugated ribs act as built-in reinforcement, providing vacuum resistance and shape retention. (Some versions may include a spiral rigid PVC helix within the corrugation for added strength.)
Performance
- Working Pressure: Up to 75 PSI (5 bar) for smaller diameters; larger sizes typically 40–50 PSI (not for high-pressure applications)
